The excitement for Allu Arjun‘s Pushpa 2 is high as the film inches closer towards its release date. It is one of the most awaited releases of Indian cinema and is expected to shatter box office records, especially in the Hindi belt.
However, despite the buzz, the shoot for the film is still not wrapped up, and there’s some crucial filming left to be done.
Filming Of Pushpa 2 Still Going On Ahead Of Dec 5 Release
Sources told Bollywood Hungama that about seven days of shooting remain. This includes two days dedicated to a special song and five days for shooting the film’s climax.
Director Sukumar is working hard to finish the film on time, with Allu Arjun overseeing the shoot of the final scenes. As editing continues, the team is pushing to complete everything and meet the film’s December 5 release date.
The makers of Pushpa 2 are confident that the film will be ready for its grand release. To ensure everything is completed on schedule, Sukumar and the production house Mythri have divided the post-production tasks among multiple teams.
There are at least four different teams working on the background score, while separate companies handle editing and visual effects. The film is also set to be submitted to censors by November 28, keeping everything on track for its December debut.
‘Kissik’ Track To Be Dropped Soon
Meanwhile, the buzz around Pushpa 2 has been building, especially after the trailer’s release, which received a positive response. However, there is concern over pre-sale ticket bookings, which have been slower than expected.
Some trade analysts feel that the film’s Telugu version might not perform as well as other major Telugu releases. Much of the hope for boosting bookings now rests on the “Kissik” song featuring Sreeleela.
The “Kissik” song is expected to be a major highlight and will be unveiled soon, with the announcement set for 5:49 PM today.
The makers have teased the song announcement as “the biggest dance and music feast” coming to fans. The lyrical version of the song is expected to drop on November 24, and fans are eagerly anticipating what promises to be a visual and musical spectacle.
Pushpa 2: The Rule also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in key roles. With so much anticipation surrounding the film, all eyes are now on the final push before its release. If all goes as planned, Pushpa 2 is set to dominate the box office and deliver a massive opening.
