The actress is diving into a grittier, more intense side of her craft with some of the film’s most brutal action sequences. Alia Bhatt & Bobby Deol Face Off In BLOODY Action Sequence
Currently, Bhatt is filming a particularly vicious and gory action scene with veteran actor Bobby Deol, who plays the antagonist. The intense sequence involves hand-to-hand combat as well as weapon-based confrontations. Renowned action director Casey O’Neill, known for his work on Jawan, Top Gun: Maverick, and Jack Reacher, is choreographing these scenes. O’Neill’s expertise aims to deliver a visually stunning and adrenaline-pumping experience for viewers.
A source told Mid-Day, “It is a no-holds-barred set-piece full of blood, gore and brutality, as Alia and Bobby go at each other with weapons as well as hand-to-hand combat. She is dressed in black, with a gun strapped to her thigh, while Bobby sports cropped hair and a salt-and-pepper beard. The makers wanted Casey to design the stunts as he is an expert in advanced stunt technology.”
100 Guards Deployed On Sets To Prevent Leak From The Shoot
The shoot is taking place at Film City in Goregaon, Mumbai, under tight security. Producer Aditya Chopra is keen to keep the details of this pivotal scene under wraps.
According to the source, “This shoot will take over four days. Since it is one of the film’s most important scenes, Adi has ensured that the location is impregnable. They have about 100 guards manning it and covering all vantage points.”
Although Bhatt has previously ventured into action with a brief role in Heart of Stone, Alpha marks a significant escalation in her action-hero journey. The film’s high stakes and intense action sequences represent a major step forward in her career.
Sharavari To Join Alia Bhatt Soon For Alpha Shoot
Additionally, the report highlights that Sharvari, who plays Bhatt’s sister and fellow undercover agent, will join the shooting schedule after the current action sequence wraps. The film will also feature Anil Kapoor in a mentor role, further expanding the YRF spy universe beyond its traditional male-dominated cast.
