Shah Rukh Khan, who is basking in the glory of his blockbuster film Jawan, also had another reason to celebrate on Sunday. The actor, who is an avid cricket fan, was overjoyed by India’s record-extending eighth Asia Cup title after they thrashed Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in Colombo.

Shah Rukh Khan, who owns the IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders, was seen wearing a blue shirt, matching the colour of the Indian team’s jersey. He also sported a beard and sunglasses, adding to his cool quotient. The actor came out to his balcony at Mannat, his sea-facing bungalow in Bandra, and waved to his fans who had gathered outside to catch a glimpse of him.
Shah Rukh Khan’s fans were delighted to see him and cheered for him as he greeted them with his signature pose. The actor also blew flying kisses and smiled as he acknowledged the love and support of his admirers. Some of his fans also took to social media to share pictures and videos of the star from his balcony.

Film will cross 430 cr net Hindi and 480 cr net all languages today. Jawan has two open weeks and it seems on course for 500 cr net India or more. It needs 125 cr week two in order to surpass Pathaan’s lifetime.

Shah Rukh Khan attends Jawan success press conference with Atlee, Anirudh and Raja Kumari
On Wednesday, Shah Rukh Khan and the team of Jawan celebrated the film’s success at a press conference at YRF Studios in Mumbai. The actor was accompanied by director Atlee, composer Anirudh Ravichander and rapper Raja Kumari, who have all contributed to the film’s success.
The press conference was a fun-filled affair, as Shah Rukh Khan danced with Deepika Padukone on stage, cracked jokes with Vijay Sethupathi and praised Atlee for his vision and direction. He also thanked the fans for their overwhelming response and support for the film.
Shah Rukh Khan also revealed that he will soon start prepping for the release for his next film with Rajkumar Hirani, which is a social comedy based on immigration. The film is slated to release this December.
