Amitabh Bachchan, Sonakshi Sinha, Shraddha Kapoor feature in new Independence Day anthem, ‘Hum Hindustani’

Dhamaka Records, a music label formed by Priyaank Sharma and Paras Mehta, released their first tune, Hum Hindustani, on the first day of its release, and it quickly became an anthem. The anthem, which releases today to kick off the Independence Day weekend, is a beautiful song with deep lyrics and a wonderful tune, sung by 15 renowned figures from the Indian film industry.

The song conveys the much-needed message of the country uniting as one and sharing hope for a better tomorrow and faith through the strong platform of music in today’s challenging times. With 15 industry stalwarts lending their voices to the song, ‘Hum Hindustani’ is sure to strike a chord with every Indian on the planet.

From Lata Mangeshkar to Amitabh Bachchan, Padmini Kolhapure, Anil Agarwal, Sonu Nigam, Kailash Kher, Alka Yagnik, Shabbir Kumar, Shraddha Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Shruti Haasan, Tara Sutaria, Ankit Tiwari, Siddhanth Kapoor and Jannat Zubair, these phenomenal artists, musicians, and industry stalwarts have crooned to the debut song of Dhamaka Records along with Anil Agarwal, a philanthropist.

Hum Hindustani is directed by Mr. & Mrs. Films and features Dilshaad Shabbir Shaikh as the music director, Kashish Kumar as the lyricist and composer, and Mohit Beatlab as the music arranger. ‘Hum Hindustani,’ the Independence Day anthem for every Indian, is released today by Dhamaka Records, with funding from Anil Agarwal’s Vedanta Group foundation.
