In a surprising turn of events, filmmaker Anees Bazmee has decided to opt out of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Regina Cassandra’s upcoming thriller Section 108. The director, who was supposed to present the film, has reportedly parted ways with the producers due to some undisclosed reasons.
Bazmee, who is known for his comedy films like No Entry, Singh Is Kinng, Welcome, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, had joined the project as a presenter in August this year. He had also announced the film on his social media with a teaser that featured Siddiqui and Cassandra in their respective roles of a lawyer and an insurance investigator.
