Earlier this year, Kapoor recalled about filming the iconic “Ramta Jogi” song without any rehearsals. His stories from the set gave fans a glimpse into the creative process behind this beloved film.
Anil Kapoor Starrer Has THIS Kajol Connection
Interestingly, Taal also has a unique connection to Kajol. Although she doesn’t appear in the film, her voice can be heard at a crucial moment. In the July 24, 1999, issue of Komal Nahta’s Film Information Magazine, it was revealed that Kajol was at the Audeus studio for the dubbing of her film Dil Kya Kare when the team of Taal needed a voiceover. They requested her help, and she graciously agreed.
Kajol’s voice can be heard after the song “Ishq Bina Ishq Bina” concludes. She announces, “Mansi Shankar from India…Namaste,” in a Western accent, fitting the scene set in Toronto, Canada.
As Taal prepares for its re-release, Anil Kapoor is busy with his upcoming film Subedaar, which marks his first collaboration with filmmaker Suresh Triveni. He is also reportedly involved in multiple YRF spy universe films, keeping his fans eager for more.
