Saurabh Sachdeva Says THIS About Animal Sequel
Saurabh Sachdeva, known for his exceptional portrayal of Abid in the film, is confirmed to reprise his role as Abid ul Haque for the sequel. In a recent discussion, he hinted that Animal Park might take some time to materialize.
In an interview with News 18, Saurabh Sachdeva mentioned that the production of Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal Park might face delays due to the actor’s commitments to shooting for Ramayana. He stated that he hadn’t discussed the matter with the production or director.
“Sandeep Reddy Vanga said ‘abhi toh time hai, I’m making the other film (Prabhas’ Spirit). And Ranbir is doing Ramayana so usmein bahut time lagega,” he said.
Saurabh mentioned that he’s unsure about the release timeline, indicating it might be in 2026 or 2027. He admitted that he doesn’t know the story yet, whether it’s been written or if there’s a rough structure in place.
Saurabh Sachdeva Praises Ranbir Kapoor
In another interview with Pinkvilla, Saurabh Sachdeva expressed his admiration for Ranbir Kapoor, the lead actor of Animal. He shared that he found Ranbir to be beautiful and noted that whenever he was on set, Ranbir was immediately present. Saurabh mentioned that he didn’t know what Ranbir’s method was, but observed that Ranbir didn’t overanalyze.
He added, “His body moves before his mind, and emotions move. So, I like those kinds of actors those whose body reacts first, and then their emotion and mind always follow. I was like, ‘Wow’. I really admire him.”

About Animal & What To Know About Animal Park
The original movie Animal, released on December 1, 2023, revolves around a man named Vijay (portrayed by Ranbir Kapoor) and his toxic relationship with his father. Vijay is depicted as an anti-hero who goes to extreme lengths, even gunning down 200 people with a machine gun, to protect his father.
Despite his efforts, he struggles to gain approval from his emotionally distant father (played by Anil Kapoor). The film concludes with a glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor’s character’s lookalike, hinting at a sequel that will focus on the clash between the two.
In the sequel, Ranbir Kapoor is set to take on a dual role. He will reprise his character Ranvijay Singh and also embody Bobby Deol’s vengeful butcher brother, seeking retribution for his sibling’s demise.
