Another Day Another Rumour: Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Rajkumar Hirani Film Dunki Will Be Postponed To Next Year Eid

Shah Rukh Khan‘s upcoming film Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, was scheduled to release in December 2023. However, due to the delay in the release of his film Jawan, Dunki’s release date might also pushed to 2024. According to rumours in Dainik Bhaskar, Jawan is postponed to 7th September 2023, so now Dunki will be postponed to the first quarter or summer of 2024.

The source further added that two of the biggest films of the year, both starring the same star, would obviously not release so close to each other. Hence Dunki will be postponed. Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 is also set to release in November 2023, and SRK will be seen in a cameo in the Maneesh Sharma film. The situation gets messy as Jawan releases in September, just a few weeks before Tiger 3.

Another Day Another Rumour, Dunki Has Not Been Postponed

Just because SRK’s other release Jawan has been pushed to 7th September from original date of 2nd June, now this rumour emerges that Shah Rukh’s next Rajkumar Hirani film Dunki will be postponed too from Christmas 2023.

But as per sources, Rajkumar Hirani is probably the most successful director in India and Bollywood and Dunki is not only SRK film but more of Hirani film. He doesn’t believe in shifting dates unless there is genuine reason. Shifting to next year is just plain rumour.

Earlier there were rumours that Jawan will release on 2nd June with tight campaign and then in any week of August but all proved wrong as SRK decided 7th September release date.
