The hearing on Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s bail application has been postponed until Thursday because ASG Anil Kumar Singh, representing the NCB, was unable to complete his argument by 5.30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Narcotics Control Bureau noted in its response to Aryan Khan’s bail plea that its initial interrogation revealed that Aryan Khan is part of a larger chain, despite the fact that he was not in possession of any drugs at the time of the raid. According to the NCB, the agency is unconcerned with one person’s bail, but that one person’s bail might stymie the inquiry.
On Wednesday, renowned counsel Amit Desai argued for Aryan Khan instead of Satish Maneshinde. He said that when the CIA raided the rave party, Aryan Khan was not even on the cruise. He was detained on his way to the party, when NCB officials stopped him and Arbaaz Merchant at the party’s gate, asking if they were bringing drugs. Aryan Khan was confirmed to be drug-free, whereas Arbaaz Khan was found to be in possession of 6 gram charas.
According to the NCB, all of the defendants are linked. According to the agency, many seizures of intermediary quantities of drugs have been made from Aryan Khan’s co-accused, as well as commercial quantities of Mephedrone from one of the accused — Abdul Sheikh.
