According to records obtained by Indextap.com, Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khurana and his brother Aparshakti Khurana purchased apartments in the same Mumbai housing complex for about Rs 19 crore and Rs 7 crore, respectively.
The actor, who made his acting debut in the film Vicky Donor, paid Rs 19.30 crore for two flats on the 20th floor of Windsor Grande Residences, Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri West, from developer Windsor Realty Pvt Ltd. The property’s deed was recorded on November 29, 2021, and the apartment paid a stamp duty of Rs 96.50 lakh, according to the records. The apartment is 4,027 square feet in size and comes with four parking spaces.
Aparshakti Khurana, his brother, spent Rs 7.25 crore for a 1,745 sq ft apartment in the same complex, plus Rs 36.25 lakh in stamp duty. According to the paperwork, the unit was registered on December 7, 2021, and it comes with two parking spaces.
The two brothers acquired a property in Panchkula for Rs 9 crore in 2020 for their Chandigarh-based family.
Several Bollywood celebs purchased residences in Mumbai in 2021. Ajay Devgn also paid Rs 47.5 crore for a property with 474.4 square metres in Juhu, Mumbai, for which he took out a loan of Rs 18.75 crore. Last year, Bollywood actress Sunny Leone purchased an apartment in Andheri West for Rs 16 crore.
On the work front, Ayushmann last appeared alongside Vaani Kapoor in Abhishek Kapoor’s film, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.
