During their chit-chat with News18 Showsha, Ammy Virk described working with Vicky Kaushal as “one of the most fun” experiences on set. He referred to Vicky as his “brother” and said, “I loved promoting our film as we had a blast in every city, enjoying delicious food and listening to great music together.”

Ammy praised Vicky as a “pure and genuine soul,” highlighting his personality’s rare and special nature. During the film’s promotions, Ammy revealed they spent hours playing Punjabi songs on set, which helped them bond.

He admitted that while Vicky is responsible for popularising Punjabi music, Vicky is often reluctant to take credit for it. “Vicky is responsible for making Punjabi songs a hit. He doesn’t take credit for it, but I think he should,” Ammy said, noting that Vicky gets a bit shy about the praise.

Vicky, for his part, playfully noted that Ammy often scolds him for downplaying his role in the success of Punjabi music.
