The makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have teased the the mystery girl who will be joining Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan in the horror-comedy franchise.
It seems to be none other than Triptii Dimri, the breakout star of Animal and Bulbbul. Contrary to recent media reports, Tripti seems to be joining Kartik in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 not Aashiqui 3.

Kartik Aaryan teased a picture of Triptii Dimri on his Instagram account and wrote, “Solve kijiye Is Bhool Bhulaiyaa ko #Bb3MysteryGirl #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 #Diwali2024.”

Triptii Dimri is said to be replacing Kiara Advani, who was earlier cast opposite Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The reason for the change is not yet known, but fans are excited to see the fresh pairing of Kartik and Triptii.

Triptii Dimri has impressed the audience with her performances in Animal, where she played Ranbir Kapoor’s love interest, and Bulbbul, where she portrayed a vengeful bride. She has also signed a three-film deal with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will see return of Vidya Balan as Manjulika
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will also mark the return of Vidya Balan as Manjulika, the iconic character from the first instalment of the franchise. Vidya Balan will reprise her role as the possessed dancer who haunts the ancestral mansion. Kartik Aaryan will play a psychiatrist who tries to solve the mystery of Manjulika.
Last week, Kartik shared a montage of scenes from ‘Ami Je Tomar’ dance that was performed by him in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 as well as the OG Vidya Balan’s iconic performance from Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
Posting the video on his Instagram handle, Kartik Aaryan wrote, “And its happening Og Manjulika is coming back to the world of BhoolBhulaiyaa Super thrilled to welcome @balanvidya ❤️This Diwali is going to be crackling #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 @aneesbazmee @tseries.official #BhushanKumar.”
Expressing his excitement about the third installment, Bhushan Kumar had earlier said, “The ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ franchise holds a special place in our hearts, and I’m very happy to be taking it forward with a creative mind like Anees and an incredible talent like Kartik.”
The film is directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar. It is slated to release on Diwali 2024.
