The Diwali 2024 box office is set for a major clash between Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. While fans are excited, it’s causing stress for the filmmakers.
Both films are scheduled to release on the same date, and recent talks between Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 producer Bhushan Kumar have not resolved the issue.

According to reports, the three met last week to find a way to avoid a direct box office clash. The goal was to maximise earnings for both films by avoiding competition. However, despite these talks, Shetty and his team are determined to keep Singham Again set for Diwali.
Sources say that Bhushan Kumar believes both films could easily earn Rs 500 crore each, but if they release on the same day, it could hurt their potential. To avoid this, he suggested that Singham Again be released earlier.
However, Rohit Shetty wasn’t interested in moving the release date. He and Ajay Devgn had already pushed back Singham Again from its original Independence Day release due to Pushpa 2: The Rule. They didn’t want to delay it again, especially for a film of this scale.
The stakes are high, particularly because of the star-studded cast in Singham Again. Not only does Ajay Devgn return as the iconic cop, but the film also features big names like Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Arjun Kapoor. Cameos from Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh add to the excitement. Many are calling this Shetty’s most ambitious project yet.
On the other side, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 brings back Kartik Aaryan to his hit horror-comedy franchise. The cast reportedly includes Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, and Triptii Dimri. With the previous films in the series being massive hits, Bhushan Kumar is eager to give this one the best chance for success.
