The countdown is on for one of the biggest box office clashes of the year. Less than ten days remain until Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 hit theatres on November 1.
However, tensions are rising as T-Series, the production house behind Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, has made serious allegations against the makers of Singham Again. They claim unfair practices in the battle for show sharing.
T-Series Seeks Help From Competition Commission For Fair Screen Sharing
Reports suggest that T-Series has reached out to the Competition Commission of India to voice their concerns.
A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Singham Again is distributed by PVR Pictures, and hence, more than 60% of the shows in PVR Inox will be allotted to it.” This hefty allocation raises questions about fairness.
According to the source, the Singham Again team has also pressured certain single-screen theatres to dedicate all their shows to their film. This leaves Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in a tough spot, with only one early morning slot in some single screens.
T-Series is pushing for both films to share showings equally, demanding a 50% split. “Hence, T-Series decided to approach the Competition Commission of India,” the source added.
This situation has a similarity to the controversy from 2012. Back then, Ajay Devgn, the star of Singham Again, faced off against Jab Tak Hai Jaan with his film Son Of Sardaar. He also sought intervention from the Competition Commission when his film struggled to secure adequate showings.
Singham Again & B hool Bhulaiyaa 3 Cast
Singham Again features a star-studded cast that includes Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff. Meanwhile, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 boasts a strong lineup with Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri.
Both teams are gearing up for what could be a dramatic face-off. Fans are eagerly awaiting how the box office battle will unfold. With such big names attached to both films, the outcome will be closely watched.
T-Series’s actions suggest they are not taking this lightly. The public will soon see whether the Competition Commission will step in to ensure fair play or if the clash will lead to an all-out showdown at the box office.
