Well, we all have seen stars doing 2 films at the same time and sometimes it also releases on the same day. However, we saw something unusual this week Bhumi Pednekar who is one of the finest actresses of BTown was seen doing a cameo in two films that released on February 21. First, she was seen in BHOOT: Part One – The Haunted Ship with Vicky Kaushal, then she again made an appearance in Ayushmann Khurrana’s Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.
Coincidently in both the films, she was seen at the balcony, about to elope and get married. While the coincident doesn’t end here in both the films lead hero, Vicky Kaushal and Ayushmann Khurrana come to help her run away.
Now obviously the audience noticed this and got shocked actually see something so out of the box. While talking about the same the actress told a daily, “I did realise that both my cameos had a scene where I was eloping, one was with the man I was going to get married to, one was with the man who I could have been married to if his sexual preference allowed. But I didn’t ever think that both these films would be out on the same day. Both these films were helmed by my friends and I did them out of love for the people attached to the films and of course the scripts. It was actually nice to see people send love to my cameos. It was great fun doing them!”
Well, we are excited to see both the scenes from BHOOT and Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan!
Meanwhile, apart from this Bhumi will be seen in 2 more films this year. First is probably Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, Lipstick Under My Burkha fame director Alankrita Shrivastava. The next would be Durgavati for which she’s currently shooting in Madhya Pradesh. The film is a Hindi adaptation of Tamil horror film Bhaagamathie co-produced by Akshay Kumar.
The actress is also set for 2021, she will commence the year with Mr. Lele with Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor.
