Box Office in India has always been full of uncertainties, but in 2026, the arrival of Border 2 has felt like a pleasant surprise. Within its first 5 days, the war epic has not only crossed the Rs. 217 crores net mark domestically and has surged past Rs. 289 crores gross worldwide, making it the first Hindi film of the year to march toward this historic status.
While the nostalgia of a classic franchise and a powerhouse cast led by Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty are the immediate catalysts, but the fact that Nidhi Dutta, daughter of renowned film maker JP Dutta chose T-Series Chairman Bhushan Kumar as their partners is undoubtedly of equal significance.

Bhushan Kumar Announces New Slate Of Biggies
Bhushan is leading the charge with massive new productions all through 2026 and 2027. His collaborations have been with mainstream Bollywood Directors as also some of the leading film makers from Telugu and Tamil film industry as well. Jai Hanuman: After the successful hit Hanuman, Bhushan Kumar comes together with Prashanth Varma for Jai Hanuman, starring Rishabh Shetty.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4: Following the massive hits, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 & 3, Bhushan Kumar backs Kartik Aaryan’s next horror comedy.
Dhamaal 4: A successful comedy franchise, starring Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra, and Jaaved Jaaferi. In partnership with Maruti International, Panorama Studios production, once again to be directed by Indra Kumar.
