Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand have established themselves as an impressive actor-director duo over time and are gearing up for their third collaboration on the upcoming movie “Fighter”. The film is expected to be one of the most grandiose action films in Indian cinema history, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone as fighter jet pilots.
Shooting for the film has already taken place at the Tezpur Airbase in Assam, the snow-covered peaks of Pahalgam in Kashmir, and the Dundigal Air Force Academy in Hyderabad. Now, the latest bollywood news is that Fighter team is reportedly set to begin a month-long shoot from March 19.
“Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone will shoot for one of the most important schedules of the film starting from March 19. It would be a wrap on this schedule by April end. The dates of shoot have been strategically clustered to shoot and prep simultaneously. The shoot will be done at real locations in Mumbai from March 19 to 24, followed by a week of prep work,” Pinkvilla quoted its source as saying.
Talat Aziz too is a member of this schedule and he acts as Hrithik’s father. “Some emotional moments too will be shot between HR and his onscreen father in this (Mumbai) schedule. April is going to be heavy on action for Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. Every scene to be shot in April would require extensive prep work from the actors and also the crew. Fighter’s cast and crew have blocked their calendar from March 19 to April 30, including dates for prep work,” its source added.
The fighter is set to be India’s inaugural aerial action franchise and is scheduled to release on January 25, 2024. The movie also stars Anil Kapoor in a significant role, the details of which are being kept confidential. During the first schedule, the team utilized authentic fighter jets, and the plot follows Hrithik’s character, Shamsher Pathania, also known as Patty, as he progresses from a young boy to India’s greatest fighter pilot. The film also features key roles played by Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi.
The music for Fighter will be produced by T-series, composed by Vishal and Shekhar, and will comprise 5 tracks, including one emotional number. Viacom18 Studios is presenting Fighter, which also marks Siddharth Anand’s first venture as a producer, alongside Mamta Anand for Marflix Pictures.
