Boney Kapoor Denies Exit Rumours: Varun Dhawan Is In No Entry Mein Entry, Juggling Dates With Bhediya 2

Producer Boney Kapoor has stepped in to clear the air surrounding the casting of No Entry Mein Entry, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2005 comedy classic. Over the weekend, rumors were flying that Varun Dhawan had exited the project. However, Kapoor has now dismissed these reports, confirming that the actor is still on board.

What Were The Exit Rumors?

Several media reports over the weekend suggested that Varun Dhawan had walked out of the film. The reason cited was scheduling conflicts that arose after Diljit Dosanjh, who was also supposed to be in the film, had to leave the project. A source quoted in a report stated that Varun’s dates were now locked for his other big film, Bhediya 2, making it difficult for him to accommodate the No Entry sequel’s new schedule. The reports even claimed that with both Varun and Diljit gone, the makers were back to square one with casting.

Boney Kapoor Sets The Record Straight

Putting a firm end to all speculation, Boney Kapoor issued a clear statement. He confirmed, “We are making No Entry Mein Entry, and Varun and Arjun are very much in the film.” This statement assures fans that the core cast of the two lead actors remains intact. He further added that the team is moving forward with the project, stating, “We are in active discussions to lock our other hero and the rest of the cast.” This confirms that the search is currently on for the third male lead.

The Diljit Dosanjh Situation

Earlier in September, Boney Kapoor had already confirmed that Diljit Dosanjh was no longer a part of the sequel. He clarified that the decision was mutual and due to genuine date issues. Dosanjh has a packed schedule with his global music tours, including his upcoming Aura Tour in Australia and New Zealand, which clashed with the film’s shooting timeline. Kapoor mentioned that they parted on good terms and even expressed a hope to collaborate with Diljit on a Punjabi film in the future.

The original No Entry, directed by Anees Bazmee, was a massive blockbuster in 2005 and recently celebrated 20 years in August 2025. The sequel, announced in 2024, promises to bring the same comedic chaos to a new generation with a younger star cast.
