Ajay Devgn is one of the biggest superstars in Bollywood. In his long and successful three-decade career, he has been a part of some of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful films of all time. One of his most awaited films has to be the period sports drama Maidaan, which has been stuck for so long. But now there is a piece of good news for people who are waiting for its release.
According to media reports, the film’s producer Booney Kapoor will be sharing a sneak peek of it next week. Annually, the Big Cine Expo exhibition takes place where theatre owners, industry stakeholders, etc congregate. The sixth edition will be held at Chennai Trade Centre on 8 and 9 August this year. At the event, between 10:40 am and 11:05 am, Boney will unveil some never-before-seen footage of Maidaan.
The producer will screen some footage as well as the much-awaited trailer of the film in front of the audience. To avoid any footage leak, the viewers must deposit their phones at the venue. Last year at the same event, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra exclusive footage was made public.
About Maidaan
Maidaan is directed by Amit Sharma and backed by Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Zee Studios. The film stars Ajay Devgn as football coach Syed Abdul Rahim and will focus on India’s golden football period between 1952–1962. Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh also appear in supporting roles. The film was initially slated to release on 23 June this year but was again postponed. However, now people are hopeful that it will finally see the light of day after multiple delays.

Ajay Is Shooting For Vash Remake In London
Ajay Devgn is currently busy filming for the Hindi remake of the successful Gujarati horror film Vash. The film also stars R Madhavan, and Jyothika in the lead, and it is being directed by Vikas Bahl. The shooting for the Vash remake has been underway for a month in the picturesque city of London. Recently, several pictures and videos from the shooting schedule got leaked on the internet.
