Juhi Chawla is an industry veteran in all senses. Starting her career in the late 1980s, she then established herself as one of the most successful actresses in Bollywood throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. Babil Khan is another interesting name that is slowly emerging in the industry. The son of late actor Irrfan Khan, Babil made his debut last year with Netflix’s Qala.
Yesterday, a very interesting and exciting project titled Friday Night Plan was announced which will witness the collaboration of these two actors. The film is helmed by Vatsal Neelakantan and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Kassim Jagmagia & Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment banner. The film will reportedly explore sibling relationships in a family.
Babil Khan plays the nerdy older brother, and his character’s partner-in-crime is his mischievous younger brother, portrayed by Amrith Jayan. Ever since its announcement, fans have been excited to see Babil again as he had proved his acting chops in last year’s drama film Qala.

About Friday Night Plan
Directed by Vatsal Neelakantan, the film stars Babil Khan, Amrith Jayan, Aadhya Anand, Medha Rana, and Ninad Kamat. Juhi Chawla appears in a special appearance in the film. Friday Night Plan is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on 1 September. Babil’s debut film Qala, co-starring Tripti Dimri and Varun Grover, was also released on Netflix last year. The film followed the story of a musician who slowly starts losing her grasp on reality.
