Brahmastra is one of the most awaited films of the year. Directed by Ayan Mukharji the film is huge in terms of budget and star cast. Dharma Productions bankrolling the film is trying to curb the cost as they are moving forward to release the film.
While after much speculation the film was announced to release in December 2020. However, now since the ongoing pandemic, the shooting has been kept on hold this may affect the release schedule of the film. Since the long wait and the current situation has disturbed the budget even more.
Since some days, there have been speculation of film getting into monetary trouble and actors reducing their pay for the same. There also have been news that Dharma Productions is contemplating offering them a profit share in the film’s success.
But then after reading all these news all around the internet, Karan Johar took to his social media account and requested people to not speculate amd wait for the official announcement. He wrote, “My hugest request to my media friends not to reach any assumptions on our fraternity films…these are challenging times for the business and false news only makes the situation worse! Please wait for official news on any account!! This is a humble request….”
