Ever since Ranveer Singh starrer ’83 has been announced, the film had become the talk of the town. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film was set to release on April 10 but due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic it was pushed by almost 9 months.
According to our information from the sources close to the film, the much awaited film will now hit the theatres on 26th January, 2021.
The film ’83 is based on India’s win under Kapil Dev’s captainship, its first-ever World Cup trophy in 1983. The film is completely ready and was set to come out with its trailer on 11th March in a big outdoor event.
Earlier, there were reports that a big OTF platform had offered Rs 143 crore to the makers of ’83.
However, Reliance Entertainment Group CEO Shibashish Sarkar dismissed the rumours. He also informed that the VFX and post-production work of ‘83 is still pending.
