Brahmastra’s first motion poster was unveiled at a special event in Delhi on Wednesday, and fans were in for a treat. With Lord Shiva in the background, Ranbir Kapoor looks stunning in his beefed-up avatar, wielding a VFX-enhanced trishul. The striking image, captioned ‘Part One- Shiva,’ also reveals the first instalment of the trilogy’s publication date: September 9, 2022.

The motion poster begins with Ranbir’s voice declaring that something strange is happening on the planet that no one knows about. Alia Bhatt then interrogates him about it, wondering how he is the only one who has noticed it. The film then shows glimpses of his supernatural abilities and how Shiva, played by Ranbir Kapoor, is born for the greater good. The video concludes with Ranbir atop a hill, holding a trishul, which complements the majestic Shiva portrait in the background.

Ranbir will play Shiva, a man born with unique abilities, in the film, which has been in the works for four years. Alia Bhatt will play the protagonist in the ‘modern-mytho’ drama, while Amitabh Bachchan will play Ranbir’s guru. Mouni Roy, a television celebrity, will play the antagonist, and Nagarjuna, a South star, will also play a key role.
The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji.
