Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most talented and celebrated actors in Bollywood. He is an amazing blend of good looks and strong acting chops. After a long break, Ranbir made his comeback to cinema last year and this year with two back-to-back releases. One of them, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, turned out to be a major commercial success. The other release was YRF’s Shamshera. He is now gearing up for Sandeep Vanga Reddy‘s Animal.
However, there is sad news for all the fans who have been waiting for the film’s release. Animal‘s release date has been now pushed to the last quarter of 2023. It was earlier supposed to release theatrically on 11 August. The reason behind this postponement is unknown but it is speculated that it might be because of some unfinished post-production work.
The massive success of Kabir Singh has made Sandeep a much sought-after filmmaker in Bollywood. His direction skills, combined with the star power of Ranbir, have helped in creating a strong buzz for the film which has been in the making for a while.
Animal Will Release On December 1st, Might Clash With Fukrey 3 And Sam Bahadur
As of now there is not certainty about when Animal will release but close source to production house states that Ranbir Kapoor starrer will release on 1st December. This means cricket World Cup will be over and it will arrive one week after Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency. But it will clash with Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur and Excel Entertainment’s Fukrey 3.
11th August Will See A Clash Between OMG 2 And Gadar 2
Since the release date of Animal has been postponed, 11th August will be a clean date for two other major films. These are Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 and Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2. Both films are sequels and have predecessor films that were loved by millions. So the stakes are high and only time will tell which one of them will be able to outperform the other at box-office.
