Directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Dharma Productions, Prithviraj Productions, Magic Frames & Cape of Good Films, Selfiee stars Akshay Kumar, Diana Penty, Emraan Hashmi, Nushrratt Bharuccha. Both Akshay and Emraan are collaborating for the first time. The film is set to release on February 24, 2023.

The 2 min 21 second video showcases Raj saying that he is a great fan of Akshay and got the opportunity to direct him a second time. Emraan said that Akshay keeps cracking jokes and this film is a rollercoaster ride. Akshay remarked it has a lot of drama.

Akshay seems to be playing superstar Vijay Kumar and Emraan, a superfan as Om Prakash Aggarwal, who has a lovely family with a 10-year old son. In an earlier behind the scene video, Emraan stated, “there is a drama in it because of the tussle between these two characters.” Akshay, on the other hand, told the reason for the twist remains a selfie.
