The trailer of Anushka Sharma’s Netflix original film, Bulbbul is out and it looks quite interesting. Recently Anushka and brother Karnesh Sharma’s Clean Slate Films produced Paatal Lok for Amazon Prime which managed to get a huge appreciation from the audience.
Anvita Dutt, a lyricist and dialogue writer is making her debut as a director with the film. Bulbbul also features Tripti Dimri, Avinash Tiwary, Rahul Bose, Paoli Dam and Parambrata Chattopadhyay in lead roles.
The trailer will definitely give you goosebumps and keep you at the edge of your seats. The background score makes it more scary. Avinash Tiwary and Tripti Dimri seem like a perfect choice for the characters they play. This interesting trailer definitely looks promising.

Releasing on June 24 Bulbbul is a supernatural period horror about a woman in Bengal who was married off as a child.
Netflix described the horror film as: ‘A child bride grows up to be an enigmatic woman presiding over her household, harbouring a painful past as supernatural murders of men plague her village.’
