We all know Ajay Devgn is all set to don airforce’s uniform in his upcoming project Bhuj: The Pride Of India. However, what you don’t know is the actor has turned into an action director for the film. As per the information announced before the lockdown that the actor had choreographed two elaborate sequences including one with Sanjay Dutt, following the absence of South coordinator Peter Hein.
The reports also suggest that the sequences directed by Ajay play an important juncture in the film. The actor helmed an exciting fight sequence where he combats Pakistan spies. The other action sequence is Sanjay Dutt and Sharad Kelkar taking on the villains.
Since that time Peter Hein was unavailable for the outdoor shoot, Ajay was requested by producers Ginny Khanuja, Bhushan Kumar, Vajir Singh, and Kumar Mangat Pathak to help with the direction.
Now the team is gearing up for scheduling two-day shooting which was left because of he coronavirus outbreak.
Bhuj is a story of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, where Karnik was then in-charge of the Bhuj airport. Ajay stars as IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik who with his team reconstructed the IAF airbase with the help of 300 local women.
The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar, Ammy Virk, and Pranitha Subhash. It is co-produced, written, and directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya.
