The highly anticipated trailer for Akshay Kumar’s aerial action thriller Sky Force won’t be launching as planned on January 3, 2025. Sources suggest the makers need extra time to finish the pending work.
Sky Force Trailer Launch Delayed
As per the reports, the trailer launch has now been delayed and it will arrive on January 5.
Earlier, director Sandeep Kewlani had revealed about a grand trailer unveiling event in Mumbai. The delay, however, hasn’t dulled the excitement surrounding the film.
Additionally, Kewlani recently expressed gratitude to the cast and crew after the shoot wrap. He said, “This film was a challenge to bring to life, but the team’s passion and hard work made it possible.” Co-director Abhishek Anil Kapur called the journey ‘tough’ but rewarding.
Filming spanned various locations, including Mumbai, Lucknow, Delhi, Pathankot, Amritsar, Hyderabad, and even the UK. This wide range of backdrops adds depth and authenticity to the story. The final schedule wrapped up in Mussoorie, with a vibrant song sequence marking the end of production.

Set to hit cinemas on January 24, 2025, Sky Force promises to be a patriotic, action-packed spectacle. It focuses on India’s historic airstrike on Pakistan’s Sargodha airbase during the 1965 Indo-Pak war, showcasing one of the country’s most heroic military achievements. The Republic Day weekend release adds a patriotic touch to the film’s narrative.
The movie boasts a star-studded cast led by Akshay Kumar, alongside Nimrat Kaur, Sara Ali Khan, Sharad Kelkar, and Veer Pahariya. You can also expect jaw-dropping action sequences choreographed by Craig Macrae, renowned for his work on Jawan, Pathaan, and Mad Max: Fury Road.
