Actress Alia Bhatt is ready to take up a new project as a producer. Her last releases, Heart of Stone and Jigra, didn’t perform well at the box office, but she isn’t slowing down. She is now gaining attention for her new production venture.
Alia Bhatt Set To Produce An Adult Web Show
Alia is reportedly producing an adult web series for Amazon Prime Video. She’s backing the project under her own banner, Eternal Sunshine Productions. The show will focus on urban college life, friendships, chaos, love, heartbreak, and the daily grind. The exciting part is that she plans to launch four new actors through the series.
A source told Mid-Day, “She is certain that the chosen faces should be real-life 20-somethings, whom the audience can relate to. Four fresh faces will be launched with the series.”
This project is aiming for that real Gen-Z energy. It’s going to show college life in the city and all the messy, emotional, and growing-up moments that come with it. The series will mix drama with adult themes and the kind of youthful vibe that’s popular right now. Shows like Kota Factory and Mismatched have already proven that this kind of content clicks with viewers.
This web series marks Alia’s second project with Amazon Prime Video after Poacher. Even though the makers haven’t revealed much yet, fans are already talking about it online.
Alia seems focused on growing her identity as a producer. After co-producing Jigra, she’s now going for bold, youth-driven content.
Alia’s Upcoming Projects
On the acting side, Alia has a packed schedule. She’s currently shooting Love And War with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal and is set to release on March 20, 2026. She also stars in Alpha, a female-led action thriller from the YRF Spy Universe. That film drops on Christmas 2025.
Besides that, Alia is reportedly in talks with Kalki 2898 AD director Nag Ashwin for a new project. She’s also linked to Chamunda, a horror comedy from the Maddock Films universe.
