Hrithik Roshan is taking the Krrish franchise to the next level. He is not only returning as the superhero but also directing the film for the first time. This marks his directorial debut, making Krrish 4 his most ambitious project yet.
Krrish 4 To Explore Time Travel, THIS Actress Might Join the Cast
Reports say the new chapter will explore time travel. Krrish will travel across timelines (both past and future) to fight a major threat. The film will mix grand visuals, action, and emotional family moments, just like the earlier films.
A source told Bollywood Hungama, “The plan is for Krrish to move through different timelines – past and future – to eliminate a major threat. While high on VFX and production, the film will stay rooted in family emotions and relationships.”
The film might also bring back familiar characters. Priyanka Chopra, Preity Zinta, Vivek Oberoi, and Rekha are likely to return to their earlier roles. There is also buzz around Nora Fatehi joining the cast. She may take on a powerful, action-packed role that adds a new spark to the story.
Filming Expected To Begin In Early 2026
Hrithik and his team worked through many versions of the script before locking it in. He is now joining hands with YRF Studios to turn his superhero dream into reality. Rumours hint that Hrithik could play three roles (Rohit, Krrish and the villain), but his team has denied these claims.
The makers are also planning to bring back Jadoo, the beloved alien from Koi Mil Gaya. The character returns after 22 years, adding nostalgia and excitement for longtime fans.
Krrish 4 is being co-produced by Yash Raj Films and Rakesh Roshan. The film is still in its pre-production stage. The team plans to begin filming in early 2026. Nearly a year of prep work has already started to make this superhero film a larger-than-life experience for Indian audiences.
Hrithik is currently busy with War 2. Once he finishes that, he will fully focus on Krrish 4.
