Taapsee Pannu starrer ‘Rashmi Rocket’ has just been released and streaming on Zee 5. The film holds a very strong point, it lies on the important issue of Female gender testing and societal barriers. Apart from Taapsee, Priyanshu Painyuli, Supriya Pathak, Manoj Joshi, and Abhishek Banerjee will be also seen in the film. The Sports – drama genre film is directed by Akarsh Khurana and produced by Ronnie Scewvala, Pranjal Khandhdiya, and Neha Anand.

2 Anushka Sharma – Sultan
Anushka Sharma and Salman Khan starrer Sultan was released in 2016. The sports drama genre film actually dint worked well on the box office with the collection of 36 Crores. Though the film was loved by few people watching Anushka Sharma in an athlete avatar. Anushka Sharma was also trained by the experts of wrestling for Sultan, Her character Aarfa had literally given justice to the film. Sultan was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced under the Yash Raj Films banner.
3 Parineeti Chopra – Saina
OTT released film Saina appearing Parineeti Chopra was in talks for a long time because of Parineeti’s outstanding performance as depicting badminton player Saina Nehwal. Produced under Tseries Banner and directed by award-winning director Amol Gupte was released on Amazon Prime on 23rd April 2021. The film speaks of her struggles and achievements and the journey to achieve the leading position in the world of sports. Saina is an inspiring tale of a sports personality, featuring aspects of personal and professional life, aimed to encourage, inform and entertain the audiences.
4 Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Shaikh – Dangal
Superhit film Dangal created a huge sensation in Bollywood. Aamir Khan starrer along with debutants Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Shaikh totally nailed the film. Smashing in a Wrestler avatar in the sports film Dangal, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Shaikh left no stone unturned and learned wrestling. The film was released in 2016 and broke the records by making a collection of 387.38 Cr. The film is a biopic made on the great wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters majorly known as Phogat Sisters. Dangal was directed by Nitesh Tiwari and was produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, and Siddharth Roy Kapur.
5 Rani Mukherjee – Dil Bole Hadippa
YRF film Dil Bole Hadippa starring Rani Mukherji and Shahid Kapoor was a big flop on the box office. But the story seemed to be quite intriguing watching Rani Mukherjee as a cricketer in the film. A story of a small-town girl who was not allowed to play cricket adorns a turban to fulfill her dream of becoming a cricketer. The film was directed by Anurag Singh and apart from Rani and Shahid, Anupam Kher, Rakhi Sawant, and Sherlyn Chopra have played supporting characters in the film.
6 Kangana Ranaut – Panga
National award winner Kangana Ranaut’s film Panga was also a very popular film in the industry. The film is about a comeback of a 34-year-old lady, mother of a kid, who was once a captain for the India National Women Kabaddi Team. Panga manages to narrate an important message packaged with wholesome entertainment. Kangana Ranaut retains her natural charm making this film memorable.

7 Kangana Ranaut – Tanu Weds Manu Returns
sequel of the hit film Tanu weds Manu, this film was the continuation for the first part with a very interesting plot, where the film had Tanu’s aka Kangana’s look-alike character Datoo, who was totally opposite to Tanu. Kangana also portrays the additional role of a Haryanvi athlete in it. Aanand L Rai’s directorial film Tanu Weds Manu Returns also made a huge success in Bollywood.
