Chhaava is finally hitting cinemas and the makers dropped a final reminder just a day before release. A striking poster shows Vicky Kaushal as Sambhaji, locked in an intense battle with a lion.
Maddock Films shared the update with a bold message & announced that the roar of Chhaava will be heard in cinemas from tomorrow. With constant promotions, countdown posts, and advance booking updates, the hype is at an all-time high.

The film’s recent music launch was a grand affair at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai. The event saw Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, director Laxman Utekar, producer Dinesh Vijan, and AR Rahman come together to celebrate the film’s soundtrack.
Rahman and his team delivered a live performance to make the night even more special.
One of the most memorable moments of the evening came when Vicky and Rahman took the stage together. The host handed Vicky a mic while Rahman played the piano.
At first, Vicky joked about his singing skills, saying it might ruin all the marketing efforts. But instead of singing, he was asked to capture the essence of Chhaava while Rahman played live music in the background. As Vicky delivered some of the film’s most powerful dialogues, the energy in the room shifted. The audience was completely captivated.
Vicky Kaushal Praises AR Rahman
After the performance, Vicky expressed his emotions & called those two minutes one of the most special moments of his life. He praised Rahman for his ability to make music feel both global and deeply rooted in the soil.
He also shared that he had always dreamed of starring in a film with Rahman’s name on the soundtrack. His heartfelt words were met with loud cheers and applause.
Vicky then spoke about what the film meant to him. He hoped that when audiences watch Chhaava, they won’t focus on the cast or the effort behind the scenes. Instead, he wants them to feel the power of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s legacy and carry it in their hearts.
AR Rahman Calls Their Collaboration ‘Unique’
Rahman also shared his thoughts & called it a ‘unique’ collaboration. He pointed out how incredible it was that someone from Punjab and someone from Chennai had come together to tell the story of a Maratha warrior.
With its powerful performances, grand promotions and legendary music score, Chhaava is expected to leave a lasting impact. The film releases on February 14, 2025.
