Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava is still going strong at the box office. Even after two weeks, the film continues to pull in audiences with its powerful storytelling and grand visuals. Now, after massive fan demand, the film is set to release in Telugu as well.
Chhaava Telugu Trailer To Release On Monday
The makers have now confirmed that the much-awaited Telugu version will hit cinemas on March 7, 2025. To build excitement, the Telugu trailer will drop this Monday at 10 AM.
This decision comes after weeks of requests from Telugu-speaking audiences, who flooded social media asking for a dubbed version. Responding to the demand, Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films has teamed up with GA2 Pictures to bring the film to the Telugu market.
Blockbuster Success Of Vicky Kaushal Starrer
Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava has already made a mark in Hindi. The film has earned Rs 555.3 crore worldwide and Rs 484.3 crore in India (GBOC) in just two weeks. With its Telugu release, it aims to reach an even bigger audience.
Vicky Kaushal leads the film as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, delivering a powerful performance. The cast also includes Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Diana Penty, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in key roles.
The makers of Chhaava have focused heavily on historical accuracy. Rashmika Mandanna’s character, Yesubai, wears traditional Paithani sarees with restored 500-year-old borders. Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal’s battle armour weighs around 17-18 kg, adding to the film’s authenticity.
With its Telugu release now confirmed, Chhaava is set to widen its impact. GA2 Pictures, known for distributing major Telugu hits, will ensure the film reaches audiences across the region.
