Rasshmika Mandanna Teaches Telugu To Chhaava Co-Star Vicky Kaushal
Vicky, who is preparing for his role as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, surprised the crowd by greeting them in Telugu. With Rashmika by his side, Vicky addressed the audience with: “Andariki namaskaaram. Andaru bagunnara. Hyderabad ki Raavandam chaala santosham ga undi.” (Hello, everyone. How are you all doing? I’m happy to come to Hyderabad and be with you all.) His effort was met with applause with the crowd appreciating his gesture.
The actor was visibly excited to be in the city and went on to express his feelings. He said, “Zabardast” and used the word “Kirrak” to describe the experience. These small gestures further strengthened his connection with the audience in Hyderabad.
First Single ‘Jaane Tu’ Was Dropped Recently
The song “Jaane Tu” has already captured attention. The soulful ballad features Vicky as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Rashmika as Maharani Yesubai. Sung by Arijit Singh and written by Irshad Kamil, the track offers a glimpse into the film’s historical narrative but fails to match the 17th-century vibe.
The film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Diana Penty, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta. Backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, the movie is directed by Laxman Utekar. It is set to hit theatres worldwide on Feb 14.
