Salman Khan and veteran Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi have been been friends since long. Ramcharan Teja’s lunch was served from Salman Khan’s residence every day while he was filming his Hindi debut Zanjeer in Mumbai in 2012.
Salman found a new way to pay tribute to Chiranjeevi. On Salman’s request, Prabhu Dheva added Chiranjeevi’s famed Veena step, where he glides in the shape of the Indian musical instrument, the Veena, in Dabangg 3’s Munna Badnaam Hua, a male counterpart of the popular Munni Badnaam Hui performed by Malaika Arora in the original Dabangg film.
Salman Khan flew in from Mumbai on a private aircraft for Telugu matinee icon Chiranjeevi’s 60th birthday bash, which was hosted by son Ramcharan Teja at the Park Hyatt in Hyderabad, a close family friend of the Chiranjeevi family. On stage, Salman danced to a medley of Chiranjeevi’s classics. Chiranjeevi was overjoyed to no end.
And now Salman is going to make a cameo appearance in Chiranjeevi’s upcoming Telugu film. This untitled film, directed by Mohan Raja, is a remake of the Malayalam smash Lucifer. With Chiranvjeevi, Salman is set to have a long action sequence.
