Directed by K.S Ravindra, Waltair Veerayya stars Chiranjeevi, Shruti Haasan, Ravi Teja, Rohit Pathak and others. It is a tale between a fisherman and his friend, egoistic ACP Vikram Sagar IPS, who ceases Veerayya from smuggling goods. It’s reportedly made on a 100-cr budget. It released on January 13, 2023. With a Rs. 18.75 cr gross Saturday and a Rs. 20 cr gross Sunday, the film has recorded a commendable hold and became Chiranjeevi’s second highest weekend after Sye Raa.

Its collections on the third and fourth day were better than the first day. It received an all India gross of Rs. 10.75 cr on its third day, it recorded a Rs. 11.25 cr gross on its fourth day. The fourth day cumulative of the film is still more than Nandamuri Balakrishna’s last film Akhanda, which eventually is now the actor’s highest grossing film too.
