RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, is unquestionably one of the most eagerly anticipated films of the year. The film will be released on January 7 in theatres all around the world, after a long wait. The film’s trailer was released earlier today, and it stars Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn.

Following the trailer’s release, the RRR crew held a large event where they discussed the film. Producer Jayantilal Gada of Pen Movies said at the launch ceremony that the film will only be available on OTT 75 to 90 days after its theatrical debut. “We are confident that people would want to experience this in cinema halls for a long time. We won’t opt for a 30-day premiere,” he said.

Since the pandemic, films that have been released in theatres have received an OTT release a month after their initial theatrical release. RRR’s producers chose not to go that way, opting instead to keep the film in theatres for a longer period of time.

RRR is a fictional story of Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, two Indian revolutionaries who battled against the British Raj and the Nizam of Hyderabad, respectively. Apart from that, many things remain unknown, such as Ajay and Alia’s characters, and even the song ‘Janani’ does not provide a clear picture of the film or their characters.
