Producer Dinesh Vijan and actor Siddharth Malhotra are making big changes in their careers. Vijan, known for his comedy-horror hits like Stree 2 and Munjya, is now moving into romance. Meanwhile, Malhotra, who has struggled with action roles, is shifting to love stories.
Sidharth Malhotra Set To Romance Janhvi Kapoor In His Next
Now, Malhotra is working with Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films on a new romantic film. Directed by Tushar Jalota, who made Dasvi with Abhishek Bachchan, the film will also star Janhvi Kapoor. This will be Malhotra’s first film with Kapoor, who recently got praise for Mr & Mrs Mahi but struggled with Ulajh.
This change to a romance film comes at a key moment for Malhotra. His recent work, including his OTT debut Indian Police Force, hasn’t done well. His big hits so far are Student Of The Year, Ek Villain, and Shershaah, which also featured his future wife, Kiara Advani.
Kiara Advani, on the other hand, has seen great success after their marriage. Her film Satyaprem Ki Katha was a hit, and she has landed major roles like in Don 3. Her post-marriage career is flourishing.
Sidharth Malhotra Recently Dropped Out From Murad Khetani’s Project
Well, Sidharth Malhotra has faced difficulties to grab attention with action films. After Yodha, he was set to star in Mitti, but he left the project just a month before shooting was supposed to start.
Reports say this was due to creative differences or possibly because of his demands and tantrums.
Apart from Dinesh Vijan’s love story, he is also in talks with Mahaveer Jain for an untitled out-n-out comedy entertainer. The actor-producer duo is looking for a top director to helm the project.
