Farhan Akhtar Announces His Next Titled 120 Bahadur
In his post, Farhan shared a heartfelt message about the film. He wrote, “What they accomplished will never be forgotten. It is an absolute privilege to bring you the story of Maj. Shaitan Singh Bhati (PVC) and the soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment.”
He continued, “Famously known as the Battle of Rezang La, fought on 18 November 1962 during the Indo-China war, it is a story of remarkable courage, heroism and selflessness shown by our men in uniform against all odds. We are grateful to the Indian Army for their support in bringing this incredible tale of valour to the screen. We embark today to make this film in all humility and with utmost respect to those we represent.”
About The Film
120 Bahadur will focus on the heroic Battle of Rezang La, where Maj Shaitan Singh PVC and his battalion exhibited unparalleled bravery. This military action film, set against the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-China War, aims to capture the true essence of this historic battle.
The film is produced by Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios. To mark the start of production, they released two engaging motion posters featuring Farhan Akhtar as Maj Shaitan Singh PVC. The first shoot schedule begins today in Ladakh, promising a visually stunning portrayal of the battle.
Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, 120 Bahadur is set to be an immersive cinematic experience. The film will showcase the extraordinary bravery and sacrifice of India’s armed forces, aiming to honour their valour with both respect and authenticity.
