Sohum Shah is set to return with another film. After the re-release of Tumbbad, his upcoming thriller Crazxy will hit cinemas on February 28, 2025. The film’s recently released teaser has gained attention online. Kishore Kumar’s voice is also used in the teaser.
Now, the makers of Crazxy have announced the upcoming song “Abhimanyu Chakravyuh Mein Phans Gaya Hai Tu.” The announcement features Tumbbad’s popular characters Dadi and Hastar. The song retains Kishore Kumar’s original vocals and aims to blend past and present elements.
Sohum Shah Announces Crazxy First Song With Tumbbad Twist
The song’s reveal came through a video. It shows Dadi and Hastar standing on an empty road, trying to get a ride. After several failed attempts, Sohum Shah (Abhimanyu Sood) stops his vehicle. The characters then take his mysterious bag, which was previously teased in the film’s posters, and blackmail him into giving them a lift.
The announcement video has gained attention for its mix of suspense and humour. With the return of Kishore Kumar’s voice and the presence of Tumbbad’s eerie characters, the song has sparked curiosity among audiences.
The film features Kishore Kumar’s song “Abhimanyu Chakravyuh Mein Phans Gaya Hai Tu” originally from the Amitabh Bachchan film Inquilaab. The song has been remastered for Crazxy and its inclusion is expected to add nostalgia to the film’s soundtrack.
Crazy Recently Entered IMDb’s Most Anticipated List
Crazxy has gained a spot on IMDb’s list of most anticipated Indian films. It currently holds the fourth position, alongside Salman Khan’s Sikandar, Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, and Mere Husband Ki Biwi starring Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh.

Directed by Girish Kohli, Crazxy is described as a thriller with psychological and emotional themes. The film explores a father’s redemption and includes high-stakes drama. It is produced by Sohum Shah, Mukesh Shah, Amita Shah, and Adesh Prasad, with Ankit Jain as co-producer.
Sohum Shah is also working on Tumbbad 2, but Crazxy remains his next big project for now. The film will be released in theatres on 28 February 2025.
