Anupam Kher Joins The Cast Of Prabhas’ Historical Drama Fauji, Says ‘Kamaal Ki Kahaani Hai’

Anupam Kher is set to star alongside Prabhas in the historical drama Fauji, a 1940s war film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher is making a grand return to Tollywood. In south, he is known for films like Karthikeya 2 and Tiger Nageswara Rao and has officially joined the cast of Prabhas historical drama Fauji now. 

Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film promises an epic war story set in the 1940s.

Anupam Kher Confirms His Casting In Prabhas Starrer

On Thursday, Kher took to Instagram to share the exciting news. Posting a picture with Prabhas, he expressed his excitement about working with the Baahubali star. “I am thrilled to be a part of this journey with Prabhas. This will be my 544th film, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team,” he wrote.

He also praised the film’s director and production team, calling them “incredibly talented”. The actor further shared appreciation for the film and said, “Kamaal ki kahaani hai.”

About Prabhas’ Fauji

Set in the 1940s, Fauji follows the journey of a soldier in the British Army, played by Prabhas. The film will explore themes of war, sacrifice, and patriotism, featuring high-intensity battle sequences and gripping drama.

Social media sensation Imanvi is making her big-screen debut as the film’s leading lady, adding a fresh new presence to the project.

Recently, Prabhas revealed that he injured his ankle while shooting for Fauji. Doctors have advised him to take a break, which has led to a temporary delay in production.
