Salman Khan is set to bring back his iconic Chulbul Pandey character in the upcoming film Singham Again. This news comes after a viral photo of Salman and Ajay Devgn in their cop avatars spread across X (formerly known as Twitter), sending fans into a frenzy.
Salman Khan To Make A Cameo Appearance In Singham Again
Sources have confirmed that Salman Khan will be making a special appearance in Singham Again. According to inside sources, director Rohit Shetty personally approached Salman for the cameo, and the actor agreed without any hesitation. One source revealed, “Salman agreed instantly and wrapped up his part quickly.”
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Bollywood actors crossover with their famous characters. Salman’s Dabangg character is just the latest to join the trend, following his role as Tiger in Pathaan alongside Shah Rukh Khan, and Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya saving Shraddha Kapoor in Stree 2. These crossovers are giving fans a whole new level of excitement.
While Salman’s cameo is locked in, reports about Baahubali star Prabhas possibly joining the film also did rounds on the internet. However, there’s no official word on this yet.
About Singham Again
Singham Again is scheduled to hit theatres this Diwali, even though some concerns were raised about it clashing with Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Kartik reportedly requested Rohit Shetty to delay Singham Again’s release to avoid competing at the box office, but Rohit has decided to stick to the Diwali release. Now, with Salman Khan confirmed to appear, the Diwali box office face-off just got even bigger.
The film already boasts a star-studded lineup featuring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and Deepika Padukone. Salman’s Chulbul Pandey joining the mix makes this cop-universe crossover even more exciting.
In addition to this, Salman is also returning to host Bigg Boss 18 on TV. With both film and television projects lined up, Salman Khan continues to remain a massive presence in the industry.
