After building up massive excitement with its motion poster, the makers of De De Pyaar De 2 have finally dropped the film’s official trailer, and it’s everything fans were hoping for. The sequel brings back the beloved characters of Ashish, played by Ajay Devgn, and Ayesha, played by Rakul Preet Singh, but this time, the complications have moved beyond just their love story and into the family.

The trailer reveals the central conflict of the sequel, where Ashish travels to meet Ayesha’s family. There, he comes face-to-face with her progressive yet very protective parents, played by the brilliant R. Madhavan and Gautami Kapoor. Sharma mentioned that he has tried to capture the same spark as the original while taking the story to new, entertaining heights.
