Yami Gautam Dhar is returning to acting after the birth of her first child in May 2024. Her next film, Dhoom Dhaam, will stream on Netflix. The first teaser has just been released & you won’t stop and will keep talking about it.
In the film, Yami stars opposite Pratik Gandhi in a comedy about an arranged marriage. Directed by Rishab Seth, Dhoom Dhaam mixes romance, comedy, and action. It is produced by Yami’s husband, Aditya Dhar, along with Lokesh Dhar and Jyoti Deshpande. The film is set to premiere on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2025.
The story follows Koyal (Yami), a carefree woman with a lively personality, and Veer (Pratik), a shy veterinarian. Their wedding day starts off normally, but things quickly go wrong when a mysterious assailant attacks them. This sets off a chaotic adventure with twists, chases, and oddball characters.
Dhoom Dhaam Teaser OUT
In the teaser, the newlyweds find themselves in danger. Yami’s character, Koyal, is shown fighting back, using guns and performing action stunts to protect herself and Veer. The teaser is short, but it builds tension and excitement, with a few funny moments between the couple. The 1-minute and 31-second teaser is a pure goosebumps!
Sharing the teaser, Yami Gautam wrote on Instagram, “Iss Valentine’s Day par, Veer aur Koyal ki shaadi manayi jayegi Dhoom Dhaam aur khoob saare dhamake ke saath 💥 Watch Dhoom Dhaam, out on 14 February, only on Netflix.”
First Poster Was Revealed Yesterday
The first poster gave a glimpse of the film’s quirky tone. Yami and Pratik are seen as a bride and groom, hinting at the wild ride ahead. Their photos appear in the matrimonial section of a newspaper, fitting their characters. Yami’s Koyal is a Mumbai girl looking for love, while Pratik’s Dr. Veer is a cheerful Gujarati man. The combination of romance, action, and humour promises an unpredictable journey.
Dhoom Dhaam blends action with comedy, offering a fresh mix of genres. It’s shaping up to be a fun date-night watch, with a good balance of excitement and humour. The film is also expected to feature some music collaborations, adding to its appeal.
