Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi are set to star together in the upcoming Netflix action-comedy Dhoom Dhaam. The film (produced by Yami’s husband Aditya Dhar) was announced on January 19, along with a fun poster that teases the movie’s quirky storyline.
Dhoom Dhaam Announced With A Quirky First Poster
In the poster, Yami and Pratik appear as a bride and groom. Yami plays Koyal Chadda, a traditional Mumbai girl, while Pratik portrays Dr. Veer, a fun-loving Gujarati veterinarian. The two are featured in a playful “matrimonial ad,” where they are looking for life partners.
Netflix shared the first look with a playful caption, “Don’t DM us for rishtas kyunki humari shaadi ‘Dhoom Dhaam’ se hone vaali hai.”
Yami’s character (Koyal) is described in her matrimonial ad as:
“Koyal Chadda (Mumbai), Marriageable age. Sanskaari, spiritual, and homely girl. Looking for a susheel family-oriented groom. Marriage is a wild ride and I’m not a passenger princess. If my doggy likes you, then rishta pakka samjho.”
Pratik’s Dr. Veer is seeking a bride and his ad reads: “Dr. Veer, 29, Gujju Boy. Vet. Want to retire from bachelor life, so looking for Mrs. Right. Living in DRY state (Ahmedabad roxx) but ready to intoxicate you with unconditional love. ‘Adventure’ is my middle name. Will garba right into your heart.”

Yami recently spoke about the film & shared her excitement. She shared, “My next avatar is a film called Dhoom Dhaam and the film is comedy. Yeh Aditya ne produce ki hai along with his brother Lokesh toh ab hamare style ki comedy hai toh kuch alag hi hoga. Mere saath Pratik Gandhi hai, a very talented actor.”
Directed by Rishab Seth, the film promises a fresh and exciting comedy experience. The chemistry between Yami and Pratik is expected to be a major highlight, as both are known for their strong performances.
Dhoom Dhaam will be available on Netflix, but the release date is still to be confirmed. Fans can look forward to the movie sometime in 2025.
