Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor are making their big-screen debut in Loveyapa, a mix of romance, comedy, and drama. To prepare for his role, Junaid spent three months living in Delhi. The actor wanted to get a deep understanding of the city’s culture.
Junaid Khan Did THIS To Prepare For His Loveyapa Character
In Loveyapa, Junaid plays Gaurav, a typical Delhi boy. To ensure his portrayal was as real as possible, he immersed himself fully in Delhi’s culture. For three months, he lived in the city & experienced everything from the crowded streets of Chandni Chowk to the calm of Lodhi Gardens.
Junaid observed the local people closely, picking up on their habits, mannerisms, and language to make his character more authentic. He wanted to make sure his portrayal felt true to life.
Reflecting on his experience, Junaid shared, “Living in Delhi helped me understand the nuances of the city and its people, making my character feel as authentic as possible.”
Film’s Trailer Was Dropped Recently
The Loveyapa trailer has already caught the attention of audiences. The film’s focus is on the relationship between Gaurav and Baani (played by Khushi Kapoor). Their journey takes a twist when their families ask them to swap phones for a day, testing their trust before they decide on marriage. This leads to a whirlwind of secrets, misunderstandings, and hidden messages, putting their relationship to the test.
The film also stars Grusha Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Tanvika Parlikar, and Kiku Sharda, among others. Produced by AGS Entertainment and Phantom Studios, and directed by Advait Chandan, Loveyapa will hit cinemas on February 7, 2025.
