The countdown to Ranveer Singh’s next big screen mission just got tighter. The makers of Dhurandhar The Revenge have advanced their trailer plans, choosing a digital-first unveil that aligns with the festive buzz of Holi, and quietly moving away from an earlier plan for a lavish, on-ground showcase in Mumbai.
The shift is significant because the Dhurandhar franchise has already set a benchmark for event-style promotions. The first film’s trailer launch was staged at Mumbai’s Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) and drew a massive crowd of fans, turning the evening into a pop culture moment that stayed in the news cycle well beyond the trailer itself. This time, the strategy appears to be scale on the internet rather than scale inside an auditorium.
Trailer Launch Plan Changed, Digital Drop Set For March 3
The trailer of Dhurandhar The Revenge is now expected to be unveiled digitally on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, on the occasion of Holi, with no physical launch event taking place. In the same report, a source is quoted saying, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge’s trailer will now come earlier than expected. It is now likely to be unveiled on Tuesday, March 3, on the auspicious occasion of Holi. However, no event will take place and the makers will drop the promo digitally.”
The earlier plan had the trailer pegged for March 5 at NMACC, making this a clear prepone and a pivot in rollout. With the film’s release close enough to feel imminent, the digital drop indicates the team is aiming for a cleaner, faster promotional surge across platforms.
