The event was organised by the Women Entrepreneurs of FICCI FLO, and Triptii was expected to promote her upcoming film, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. According to reports, she was paid Rs 5.5 lakhs for her appearance.

Videos circulating on social media show women defacing Triptii’s posters and expressing their frustration. One woman shouted, “Muh kaala karo iska!” while others voiced their disappointment. They felt let down, especially since many had come to see her.

Angry Women Call For Her Films’ Boycott
One attendee commented, “Koi iske movies nahi dekhenge. Commitment karke yeh log aate nahi hai, time management karna aana chaiye,” (No one will watch her movies. They make commitments but don’t show up; they need to learn time management.)
Another woman, who seemed to be part of the organising committee, stated, “Jaipur should boycott Triptii Dimri. Hum usspe case karenge,” indicating they were considering legal action for her absence.
Amid the uproar, an independent source claimed Triptii did not take the money. Instead, the organisers were the ones who handled the payment. Typically, a team manages a celebrity’s schedule, arrival, and security. In this instance, it seems Triptii was unable to attend due to traffic issues, which made her miss the event and her flight.
The organisers expressed their frustration about the situation, feeling disrespected and slighted. “After taking money, changing times. She is running away and she disrespected us,” one woman said, asserting that they plan to boycott her movies. They believed that such behaviour was unacceptable for someone in the limelight.
As of now, Triptii Dimri has not publicly addressed the situation. However, she returned from Jaipur on Tuesday evening and later walked the ramp with Kartik Aaryan for designer Manish Malhotra, donning a stunning wedding outfit.
For the unversed, the actress is currently promoting two films: Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
