Metro… In Dino: ‘Dil Ka Kya’ Song Drops Tomorrow—Aditya Roy Kapur & Sara Ali Khan’s Heartbeat Romance Set To Soar

‘Dil Ka Kya’ from Metro... In Dino releases tomorrow! The Anurag Basu film stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, and an ensemble cast. The romance hits cinemas July 4, 2025.

The Metro… In Dino journey is underway! Tomorrow marks an important day in the promotion of the much-awaited Anurag Basu film; the first romantic song, ‘Dil Ka Kya’, will be released, looking to be an emotional ride of rawness, unexpressed feelings and urban loneliness.

Dil Ka Kya — One Song, A Thousand Emotions

Described as the film’s musical heart, Dil Ka Kya features the talents of:

  • Arijit Singh on vocals
  • Pritam on music
  • Tani Basu on words

The song will hopefully showcase the nuanced layers involved in today’s relationships—appropriate for the film, which exists as a spiritual successor to Basu’s successful Life… In A Metro (2007).

The teaser does provide a few snapshots of Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan—some fleeting quiet looks, some sad city nights, and palpable romantic tension.

“Ek sawaal, hazaar jazbaat” (One question, Thousand feelings).

If the song has done its duty, we may see another Arijit-Pritam classic added to our playlists.

Box Office Worldwide Verdict

‘Dil Ka Kya’ could represent the heartbeat of Metro… In Dino, as it picks up where the 2007 film left off musically. With the voice of Arijit Singh and the melody of Pritam, nothing can stop a chart-topper.

If the song connects and clicks, then the film must be riding in July on the wave of romance, nostalgia, and love.
