Day 2 Box Office Collection
According to early estimates, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat is expected to collect around ₹ 6.35 crore on its second day (Wednesday). This is a drop of around 35% from its opening day collection of ₹ 10.10 crore.
This kind of drop is generally expected for a film that releases on a major national holiday. The Day 1 numbers were high due to the Diwali holiday, and Day 2 was a regular working day for most people. The 35% drop is a normal trend in this situation.
Total Collections So Far Decent
With the Day 2 numbers added, the total collection of the film after two days stands at an expected ₹ 18.98 crore. This is a decent two-day total, but the film’s real test will begin now.
Since it was a mid-week release, the collections will be closely watched for the next two days (Thursday and Friday). The performance during its first full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) will be very important. The weekend numbers will give a clear idea of where the film is heading and what its lifetime collection might be.
